My oscellaris has been showing signs of brook for some time now. I recently lost my Clown Tang also. Never showed any signs of anything on his body but from time to time would scratch his sides on the bottom of the tank.. I just picked up a 20g to set up as a hospital tank for her.. What is the best way to treat my clown. The above brook thread is sooo old none of the links work anymore and the search feature isn't working on the forum..Thanks
Dan

I forgot to mention the DT is a 180(equipment listed in signature) the only other fish in the 180 are a blue jaw trigger, and a gold spotted rabbitfish. both are healthy with no signs of disease.. and about 60 or so different corals..thats why Im setting up the hospital tank

This is what I have been told as I just lost 2 GBM clowns and a kole tang to brook. Remove all of the fish for 45 days out of DT to allow for it to die off w/o a fish host. Perform fw dip with formulin(ingredient in rid-ich) for (i've been told as little as 2 to as much as 15 mins) and put in QT to monitor till it clears up.... I guess you could just follow the directions on the back of the bottle and just dump it into your QT, performing WC and doing it till no signs of brook exist. Brook is a quick killer IME so get treatment sooner than later.
