How to use lanthanum chloride

I am in the process of breaking my tank down and starting from scratch. I want to take all my rocks out and "clean" them with muratic acid. From what I understand the acid bath won't do anything as far as reducing the phosphates that have binded into the rocks over the years. So before I place the rocks back into the tank and have the phosphates leaching back into the water costing me a bunch of money in gfo I thought about the lanthanum chloride. Anyone with experience or have used it before please let me know how and what steps or what to use please. Thank you

Fill a container that will hold all your rock with RODI water. Add powerheads/pumps (enough to circulate the water good). Dose the LC about 5-10ml twice a day. Test water until phosphates are at acceptable levels. It took me about a month to do 50lbs of BRS pukani rock. I used "Phosphate Remover" from Lowes in the pool section. Its made by Clorox and only costs about $11.00 for 32oz. I only used about half to do my rock.

Interesting... I will be doing this next week. How long do you go between draining the container and adding fresh RODI water?

Are there any other kinds of phosphate remover/removal I could look for. Went to lowes and Home Depot and neither had
