how to use seachem buffer or kent superbuffer

I want to know exactly how to use a buffer. I have a 29g tank that I need to buffer up my alk. Can I mix up buffer in freshwater and drip it like a kalk dripper?

Can there be too much buffer or too much drip?

I just need some help.

I would not recommend doing this. There are too many variables here that could cause problems. A 2-part additive is a more appropriate method of keeping alkalinity and calcium in check. Separate additives can lead to over/under-dosing and subsequent problems.

What are your current alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium levels?
