How Wide of a Tank?

Hi All.

Thinking about my next build and have a question: What size (width) of a stand (with 2x4's) is needed to fit a 24" wide sump? I think my stand for the 120 (4x2x2) was something like 32" and the 24" wide sump just barely fit underneath it.

Do you think this style would be appropriate on a 96" long tank:

Just thinking out loud here - I'm pretty sure my gap in the above picture is 25" wide. Add 6" (for the 2x4's on each side) - that'd be probably 31 inches I guess. SO the tank would probably be 96x32x27 - sound about right?

edit:
Just to clarify: the above pic is a stand that was oversized for the 120. It didn't sit right on the 2x4 supports (which is why I used the 4x4's). I wanted to avoid that this time around - so the stand would be 32" wide to support the 32" wide tank. Instead of a single support for the length of the tank - I plan on having two supports in the middle for the length of the tank.

ok - well - obviously - i know how to make a stand. But thanks for the effort. The question is more geared towards the sump width and the required width of the stand - not tank width (I'll have the tank made to whatever the stand is).

I just figured out - I can't fit an eight footer into the room I am planning to use. I can possibly fit a 7 footer though (that's the same length as my bed frame and it fit through the openings).
