hqi wiring question

i bought a 250w hqi reflector and i'm trying to figure out how to wire it to the ballast. there is a white wire on each endcap of the hqi and a white, black and green wire from the ballast. do i just wire the white from the ballast to one of the white wires on the reflector and one white wire from the reflector to the black wire from the ballast? and the gree/ground wire...what do i ground it to?

Yes that is the way it is, there is usually a green screww in the retro reflectors wer you would place the ground (green), make sure you use it.
