Wow did the tanks ever do a number on my house this winter. The woodword around most of the windows got pretty moldy, humidity has been running about 65% most of the winter.

What do you guys do? I was thinking about installing an air exchanger. I have 1 dehumidier running but it didnt seem to do much for me this year.

Tagging along. I have 3 tanks running, and the lone dehumidifier couldnt keep pace. In one room, where the biggest tank is, I pointed a fan toward a larger room. This seemed to keep that room a lot less humid than it previously had been. The air vented into the larger room, where it seemed to disperse.

My tank has metal halide. I open the windows when the halides are on and turn on the ceiling fan.

mine did get a bit moldy too, i bleached the mold and cracked the windows, turned on the ceiling fan and moisture was gone!!

Run the blower on you furnace all the time it helps..
