I have a couple used 6025s that I just picked up. I'm told they are the "new" style. They seem to have a noticable hum to them when running. It is loud enough that I find it annoying, and considering removing them from the tank (it's only been one day).
Is this normal, or is there a way to get it to go away? I've not owned Tunze equipment before, so I was not sure. The seller said they ran quiet for him.
I'm not sure if this would have caused it, but I accidentally popped the holder out of the magnet. It snapped in and felt solid, but could that be part of the problem?
