I was born and raised in AZ, even though in OK right now, AZ has a decent lake or two as well. FYI :D The entire state isn't all desert after all.

TheMcs,
I love the sense of humor and I think most people involved in the post did too...

Accept for the normal couple of people on RC (some with RC granted authority) that just look for things to get "offended" over.

I wonder..........

a lot.....

I went to lake havasu once. It was so hot I decided to snorkel, and I saw a few fish here and there, mostly cichlids and stuff.

I didn't read everything, sorry. I always thought there was a SLIGHT difference between the two...

I guess a fellow Okie needs to jump in here and set you men straight. :) Here's the facts:

State fish: Sandbass. Oklahoma is also home to some of the best fishing lakes in the country with more miles of shoreline than any other state.

Oklahoma (pronounced /ˌoʊkləˈhoʊmə/) is a state located in the South Central region of the United States of America. With an estimated 3,579,212 residents in 2006 and a land area of 68,667 square miles (177,847 km²), Oklahoma is the 28th most populous and 20th-largest state. Its name is derived from the Choctaw words okla and humma, meaning "red people", and is known informally by its nickname, The Sooner State.

Oklahoma holds the highest number of lakes created by dams in the nation, with more than 200.

A major producer of natural gas, oil and food, Oklahoma relies on an economic base of aviation, energy, telecommunications, and biotechnology. It has one of the fastest growing economies in the nation, ranking third in per capita income growth and leading in gross domestic product growth.

The state has four primary mountain ranges: the Ouachita Mountains, the Arbuckle Mountains, the Wichita Mountains, and the Ozark Mountains. Among the most geographically diverse states, Oklahoma is one of four to harbor more than 10 distinct ecological regions, containing eleven within its borders, more per square mile than in any other state by a wide margin.

And...the prettiest women in the US!

You might want to rethink that attitude mister. This is a friendly, happy-go-lucky thread. Take care lest I call down the illustrious pimp almighty mhurley.
