They work great. Now go read the 5 other threads related to the exact same question your asking. I've personally seen this posted at least 5 times in the last month. Either you don't care to search or you spend hardly any time on RC, which I find hard to believe judging by your register date and how many posts you have. Be respectful to the people who make RC possible. Seeing the exact same question over and over again gets old fast.
 
first the search on this site is always cloged, and if you dont like it dont read it . thank you to the others who have contributed useful information for me.

anyhow - i also have 2 #4's in a 180 and love them... they are great for the money in my opinion if you dont have the cash to shell out for tunze's or equal... I would recommend them...

First off, many people to not like to hijack threads and ask their own questions... Second, not everyone who has a hydor likes it and has different opinions... Since people dont just buy it when it first comes out, everyone is always buying and everyone has there own opinions... This is a forum for asking questions and not for flaming people because you ate your wheaties this morning... Let the man ask his questions and he shouldnt be harrassed because he did...

Now if seeing the same question asked over and over again that is something you should take up with the moderators...And please, please explain to me how he is being disrespectful for asking a question...

Also Fatrip, hydors are great, they disperse the flow better than anything I have used for years in my fresh tanks....

Don't take it personal. If you would spend less time posting/waiting for answers and just read several pages down you would find everything you want to know. For future reference, if you go to the home page on the left you will see search tools. You may have to weed out some of the junk but I always can find what I am looking for.
 
InADream, I did not hijack the thread. I answered his question and told him the right way to go about doing things. If every person would actually research first then ask questions, this board would have much more info readily available. The reason for having threads is to post info and opinions in that thread, not to disregard it just to start your own thread. Thats all I was getting at, jeez.
 
So has anyone tried the new hydros???? I have been wondering? Or should I start my own thread? Maybe that way I can get a sel proclaimed moderator to jump down my thorat, for doing what RC is here for!!

Now for the question. I have 2 #4's and I love them. Since I have added them I have better PE in SPS and eveyrthing looks great. For the money you cant beat them. the downside, there is no controller like there is for tunze. But I can deal with. HTH
 
There was a group buy here in Houston... people went nutz over the 4s. I personally didnt get one but some of my fellow reefers have them and say that its a waste unless you get the 4s...


THis thread is already hijacked... and probably will be shut down... good info though...

The guy has a point and feels as if he has to say something otherwise his point will go to waste... on the otherhand... I think he ate to much wheaties and needs to have his testoterone levels checked.

The 4's will work with a Seio controller.

The only downsides to me are the size and the weak mag holders. But all pumps have physical presence, I am waiting to see how the new K pump will turn out, they are working on a more powerful K pump that is the same size of K4 but more flow.
 
If you run them on a controller I belive it does void the warranty. I did hear that they are coming out with a controller this fall/winter.

WoW....what an a$$-hole.

I'm gonna be REALLY honest here...

I'm too cheap to be a "premium member," and by the looks of your "registered member" tag, so are you... Further more, the search function only works really early in the morning, and maybe once or twice during the day if the planetary alignments are to the gods pleasing. I'm sure you agree.

It won't kill you to see the same questions once in a while. I agree with trying the search engine first, but you're really being a BIG A$$ about it.
