Hydor Koralia Pumps

Has anyone checked these out from our club. They are selling like hot cakes. I ordered a #2 from Marine Depot and its back ordered just like every other vendor. I have heard however that there have been some problems and recalls on the #2 and 3s. I hope the new order comming in will be the good ones. Other than the recall they sound like great pumps. Very comparable with the Tunze nanos and some say they are better and a lot cheaper.

I have 2 of the #3's and I love them! They are great because pumps won't suction to my acrylic tank and I needed some circulation at the bottom. These are perfect. I think the Tunze has the motor on the outside (which would be nice) , but for the price it does an excellent job. I have had no problems. I ordered mine from Pet Solutions and they are not backordered.

For how much the koralias cost I personally would givem them a try over the mjmods. Or even the tunze nanos. I'm personally not that impressed with the mj-mods.

The tunzes still have the motor connected to the prop on the inside of the tank.

You are right, that's the one I was thinking of and it is sooo expensive!
