One of my hk died and I just bought a new one to replace it and it came with a cap that goes on the end how long have they been putting those things in there and where can I buy some for my other koralia?

How did it stop working are you sure it can't be cleaned to work again ? I bought HK's 1.5 years ago and the flow directors were included then. If you want to pay for shipping I will give you mine.

I contacted hydor on the website and they sent me them for free. Just complain that it purees your fish from time to time.

what does this so called flow director look like? B/c Mine came with nothing but the box it came in and the instructions and magnet so can I see a pic if some has the time

Thanks I see now, I have only one HK nano and I dont think they use that ,but i will be buying A hk 1 so its good to know

No, I just didn't put it on, because it reduces the waterflow quite a bit. I usually don't use the flow directors. I prefer a nice, wide stream.
