Hydor THEO Heater 400 Watt

I used that heater and it worked great until it quit working...if that makes any sense. I was going to replace it with a new one since I really like how it maintained a stable temp. I believe there is a circuit internal to the heater that has a 'ramping' action which keeps the temp from rising as fast as the conventional heaters. I really liked the way that heater worked but it died after about 3 months. I'm going to get another I just haven't gotten around to it.

No idea why it quit....but I'd like to give another one a try in case it was just a fluke. I had almost flatline temps with that heater.

I just got one last week...so far accurate within 1º...I like the fact that you can set it up completely submerged horizontally. My previous heater have exploded when the sump level goes down.

BTW...this is the GHL forum :)
