This stuff is taking over live rock. Starting to kill off zoas and bothering coral. How can I get rid of this??!?

unfortunately, I am dealing with the same thing. I've found that cutting back on feedings is helping. I've also lost several corals to these things.

It's by far the worst ongoing problem I have. What's crazy is how little of this stuff it takes to infect the whole tank.

what kind are they? Im dealing with the really small colonial ones. they look like tiny little feather dusters or "dandelions"

Yes, the feather duster looking ones are what I have. I started over and within one day, being careful not to infect my new tank, they were there. I sometimes think that mine came through a container of pods I added. It is extremely easy to "reinfect" a completely cleaned tank, apparently. I know in the past with former tanks, I have seen them on the glass (little jellyfish creatures), and they have just disappeared over time; however, they are simply not disappearing this time. I have completely quit feeding my new tank (no fish yet) to see if that wipes them out.

Make sure you have that type of hydroid. There are generally two types, and I have the featherduster type that is not the same as the one in that link.
