Hydroid ID's with pics

I noticed a few things in my tank. The first one, which I think is a digitate hyrdoid I have only noticed just very recently. Odd thing is that I haven't added anything new that it could have hitched on for quite a while. Are they bad? Will they kill or hurt my corals? How do you get rid of them? Here's a pic:

This other one I have a few of in my tank. They seem completely harmless and just open (inflate) in the morning, assuming a filter feeder, then they shrink back up (close) or whatever they do.

So can someone please tell me if I have to eradicate these digitate hydroids or are they ok in a reef? Melev mentions that they are reef-safe-ish. I have seen them brush up against my sinularia and xenia and neither have reacted adversely, so... any input?
