Hydroids

I noticed a small colony of these in my tank the other day. To be safe, I just removed the rock all together. I've looked over everything I could see, without physically tearing the tank down and could not find anymore.

Suggestions on what to do next? I would rather not restart, but will if necessary.

You did the right thing IMO, nip it in the bud. Had I only knkwn what I was seeing I would've don the same thing when my first 50 cent piece sized coliny showed up. Now I have thousands of them and Im looking at breaking my system down to get rid of them.

I had them in my old 29 gal. I did nothing and they went away on their own (or something got rid of them for me). Im not saying it always happens or will for anyone else but it did to me. I have since moved the rock to a 75 and never saw them again. I had a coral beauty, six line and clowns in the tank along with a typical cuc., not sure if any of them would get rid of them or they just went away naturally.
