Hey ,
I am at the begining of my 6th week of hypo in display tank.
Salinty has been 1.009 for duration. Last spot seen on fish was 6/17/07.
All fish and even a lonely hermit still fairing well. ( Did lose my Goldflake Angel. Totally #$$%^&&*)
Died Mysterious death. Unknown. Prob. Bacterial that showed no indication. 12 hours ealier he was in top shape.
Anyhow, all readings taken with calibrated refractometer. (Distilled H2O)
Q? Should I begin raising SG or wait even longer.
Inhabitants:
Powder Blue Tang
Majestic Angel
Coral Beauty
Redback Butterfly
Tuskfish
Cleaner Wrasse
War Torn Hermit

Any Comments Appreciated

I think you can now start raising your salinity slowy over a week or two. By the time you transfer you fishes back into the DT, the DT will have been fallow for about 7-8 weeks. Good luck.

I can't believe your war-torn hermit made the adjustment for hypo -unheard of. I hope he can survive going back to regular salinity. Good Luck.

Edit:. I didn't see that you we're hypo'ing your DT. In this case, you can leave it a little longer. I say at least 2 more weeks if your patient enough.
