Against my better judgement, I was in a rush to add the newly purchased blue throat trigger to my aquarium. I had family coming in to town and wanted to add some more life to the tank.

Current inhabitants, 1 yellow tang, 1 occelaris clown, 1 stary goby, 1 blue throat trigger.

After 10 days of the fish being in the aquarium I am seeing this build up on the yellow tang, and some on the trigger. The clown and goby seem as of yet unaffected. The tang has seemed to loose appetite and is hiding when he previously did not. As of yet, there seem to be no other symptoms.

In the future I will never skip quarantine no matter what. Please help identify what is going on so I can treat and save my fish.

IMO, Crypto.
Brook and velvet appear smaller. Flukes are more clear looking.

The clown pictured doesn't look good to me either.

You are right, he doesn't look great now that I am looking at him in the picture. I suppose because he is so small I was overlooking him when seeing it more pronounced on the tang.

If it is truly Crypto, would the recommendation be to use TTM for my 4 fish, then let the display sit fishless for 8 weeks?

TTM is the most effective method. Make sure you have two of everything. DT will need to be fallow for at least 72 days for Ich to die off without a fish to host.

It looks a lot like Ich to me as well. Are they still eating fine?

Do you have 2 Brute trashcans you could use to TTM all your fish at once?

Everyone, but the tang is eating normal. I have 2 15 gallon tubs I'm going to use for ttm, and a 20L I'm going to use for the 8 week fishless display. Will give it a shot. Really discouraged for being so stupid.

Tank Transfer Method. Basically you have two tanks set up, and on the morning of every third day you move the fish into a new tank. Dry out the old one, and repeat. After a couple weeks, you won't have Ich anymore.

It works because of the life cycle of Ich. There's a lot more detail and reading around - but that's the basics of it. TTM pairs up very nicely with new fish quarantine.

There are reports of fallow failing after 72 days. Just to let you know. If it were me, I would just bleach the display and start over, since it doesn't seem like there are corals.
