I currently have a bio-cube I bought it used and do not know the true Gallon capacity and am currently out of state so i cant measure it..

Currently I have acros, zoas, acans, monti's, and chalices. Here is a picture of my tank and the Chinese LED light i have used for a while.

I am going to be a new radion customer and am excited for all the new features and of course hoping for some better coral growth.

To make this short. I currently have the bio-cube but according to the wife she wants a bigger tank when we purchase a house within the next year. she wants a 65Gallon..

is the XR15W perfect for my current tank? and when a bigger tank is decided on possible add another XR15W ? Or would i be best off to buy an XR30W gen3 NOT PRO for my current tank?

I am beyond confused right now and would rather spend the extra money on setting up my sump if the XR30W would be over kill.

If you know you are going to be upgrading down the road, I would go for the XR30W Pro now.
You can run it at a lower level now in the smaller tank, and then bump it up on the bigger tank.

I do know i will be upgrading the tank hopefully in the next year.. And that was somewhat the way i was leaning. However i don't want to shed out 750 for the xr30w pro. I was looking at either the gen3 regular xr30w or the xr15w pro.

My wife and i are expecting our first child in december, and while we are well off, i want to keep some money saved up so we can both take time off from work for the baby.

I totally agree..I'd deal with the overflow of light till the upgrade..I have the xr30w pro gen 3 on my 60 cube and it's more than enough (as I know I'll be upgrading also...and by the way my corals lobe it's!my tank is 90% SPS and the polyp extension is insane!

For your current aquarium, the XR15w Pro will provide more than enough light. While I definitely agree with others regarding an upgrade, keep in mind that the XR15w Pro is very modular and you could always pick up a second or third fixture(s) if/when the time comes. For example, two XR15's would work perfectly over a 65G reef.

Good luck with your Biocube, it'll really look great with the Radion and RMS! :)

Thank you everyone for the advise.. I think i will go with the XR15W PRO and then get a second one when we upgrade the tank..

Does the XR15W come with both the 80 lens and wide angle lens??

Thank you for your help one last question,

I am looking into upgrading my tank to a Rimless 32x24x20 66G

Will i need the Xr30W for this? or will the xr15w pro work fine?
