Right now i have a 125 with a few corals a couple tangs (yellow and hippo), a bangaii cardinal, a percula clown and a 3stripe damsel (would probably get rid of him if i thought i could catch him) Say i ditched one of the two tangs, probably the blue as he exhibits a capacity to be aggressive, the clown and the damsel. Would it be ok to drop a dwarf fuzzy lion with the yellow and the bangaii and maybe add some sort of wrasse down the line?

Im enjoying the corals but just cant get over my 2 favorite groups of fish loins and triggers. I have seriously considered getting rid of all the coral several times now just so i could get a trigger, or just selling everything in it so i can attempt some larger freshwater cichlids or something. I cant help it, the tangs are cool but i just like big predatory fish.

I know the solution to this problem.

You have multiple tanks.

I used to have a shark, predator and reef tank. So that my fish would not eat each other.

I have a blue throat in my 125 reef. I just would not trust him with shrimp he does not even look at my corals.

Get rid of your fish and get a lionfish, bluethroat trigger and maybe a wrasse like a harlequin tusk
(Or even a thalassoma wrasse). All are CORAL safe but will eat inverts/small fish. I prefer the multiple tanks tho, reefs can be any size so I have a nano and my aggressive tank is the big one. Eels are also on the coral safe inverts no list, but they can get clumsy. Groupers will also not eat corals but are predatory.
