So I got this frogspawn at a frag swap back in April and ever since then it has never been happy! The polyps are never fully extended it seems but it has grown another head.
-I tried having it placed high up: didn't like the flow.
-I tried having it mid tank sheltered behind a rock: did ok there but not great.
-I have it on a lowest part of a rock: definitely not extending all the way
I have no idea what else to do! Could it be that I changed bulbs from stock aquaticlife to ATI? Perhaps it doesn't like so much light?
I have another frogspawn and a hammer coral that are absolutely great! The other frogspawn is nicely extended and growing 2 more heads! What is up with this guy?! Here is a picture of him
here it is on April 20th
May 25th
June 25th
This was taken on July 8th (now)
And for comparison, here is the other frogspawn June 8th
Parameters are as such:
Temp: 79-80
SG: 1.025
Ca: 425
Alk: 9
Mag: 1450
Nitrate, Nitrite and Ammonia: 0
Phosphate: 0
I run GFO and carbon in the BRS reactor at all times and change every month for carbon and every 2 months for GFO. Help me figure out what's going on!
