I.D. Please anemone? good/bad?

I have had these on a piece of live rock i purchased about 6 months ago, small colony until the last couple of weeks and they started spreading. Thanks in advance for your help

Those are Majano anemones. They will reproduce rapidly and sting your corals. I recommend you inject them with Kalk paste to kill them. I have seen these anemones completely take over tanks. :eek1:
 
I read somewhere that a certain species of filefish (Acreichthys tomentosus I think?) can get rid of majanos.
 
I've also had good luck with Racoon Butterflies eating them. But, I don't recommend them because after the Butterfly finished off the Majanos he went after my clams, Ricordea and Zoas.
 
Good luck getting them under control. Doing so early is the key. If you let them go, you'll be in for a long battle with them.
