Had this guy for about a month now. It has been doing good. It looks like this during the day but at about 3am it stands about 7-8 inches tall and has all kinds of polyps coming out of it. Just wondering what it is. Would have a better shot of it at night but my camera sucks...! Was a hitchhiker.. Thanks

Well there you go! Thanks.. After looking around at pics I am pretty sure thats what it is. Now If I can only get this thing to open up early... =)

yup thats a chili coral... will open up really nice at nights....target feeding may be necessary

Not an easy coral to keep alive. Non photosynthetic and requires lots of food. Typically found hanging upside down in caves and overhangs with good flow.
