and yes .. i have red bugs .. chit happens . once a year i nuke my system . its pretty much unavoidable .as you can see theres no issues with color or growth as im up on my routine ... just another day

Are some of the pictures top down??? If so, what are you using for the top down shots???

What camera & lens combo are you using???

Also how about a full tank shot of the 180gl, I saw your 120gl shots also.

ohh my lord!!! you dug back to 2008 !!!!! new shots are soon to come !
for ref.. im using a nikon d200. my lens of choice is a 17-70 sigma super wide\ macro . there may be a 300mm macro thrown in there somewhere . I just roll with it .. quick and easy .

I hate to ask repetitive questions...it can really clog up a thread. Your comment made me laugh!!!!

So I was wondering if any of the shots were top down and if you were using some sort of acrylic or glass box???

Thanks for info on camera and lens combo. I ended up going with a Nikon d3100, (should work out as a good entry level DSLR) it came with 2 kit lenses and I added a Tameron 90mm/Macro. Really looking forward to playing around with it. Should be posting a few shots soon.

@ Dennis . I guess I didn't answer that the first time . Sorry bout that .
I made my own top down box . Not really a box . I have a few PVC pipes I cut to my lens lengths . I fitted them with acrylic bottoms . Alot less bulky then the boxes that are sold .
And nice choice in cameras . Have fun playing with it .

Full tank shot will be soon . This system hits 1 year on the 1st of jan . Sad to say its not nearly as grown in as my 120 was .
This system is a 180 display piped thru floor into a wet room which also houses my 80 growout .
