I never saw these things before, and I found a dead one the other day. I figured it was a fluke, and then WHAM! This sucker is lurking.

Must have been a hitcher that finally grew up. I'm thinking it's a stone crab because I don't see the hairs of the gorilla. Anyone else?

Picture was hit with some autoleveling in photoshop to try and enhance it. He wasn't coming out too far.

I heard stuff about a glass with maybe a piece of silverside or somthing? Not sure how that will last. My 6-line can get into almost anything.

Sounds like a personal problem...

The glass trick works great. My 6-line was picking at the piece of shrimp I put in the cup, but once the crab got close he backed away a bit.
