I got me some ICH

My Royal Gramma has developed ICH.

I have added no fish in a month, and that fish was in QT for 4 weeks, all fine.

I am going to set up a Hospital tank tonight, and attempt to get the gramma in it.

Do I have to pull all the fish out and treat them all?

What about my cleaner shrimp?

If I pull them out, is the reef off limits for 6 weeks?

Sounds like tonightwill be fun... I thinkI need to pull all the fish.

I have a Royal Gramma, a Maroon Clown and a Blue Eye Anthis. Can they all be treated the same? I am thinking Hyposalinity and Rid Ich. What do you think?

Oh I think I may have induced it via stress, I moved from a 55 to a 90, 3 weeks ago. the fish spent 2 days in a 10, where they are headed now...

Fun times!

You don't need to move the cleaner shrimp or any inverts because they don't catch or carry ich.
It's up to you if you treat all of your fish. They can be treated at the same time. I am treating all of my fish now just to be sure.
I chose to treat with copper in a QT.
Rid Ich may or may not work. Usually more than half the time it doesn't work.
Also I would leave the tank without fish for at least 4-6 weeks to give the ich to run its life cycle and die off.
Good luck with your treatment.

Yes, you do have to treat all of your fish. However, since you have a cleaner shrimp, I recomend keeping your fish in the main tank since cleaner shrimps are known to help fight ich. However, you cannot use copper medicine, or hyposalinity. Instead, you will have to use a reef and invertabrate safe medicine to treat the ich.
