I got nudis, how long to FW dip

I dipped all my zoos in FW for 10-15 minutes about 4 days ago and I pulled off 4 large nudis today. I know that the FW dip does not kill the eggs but these seem too big to have hatched in the past few days. Did I not dip long enough. What is the suggested time to leave the zoos in the FW. Thanks

Hmm, My nudies fell off dead almost instantly when I dipped some new corals. Did you swish the coral around so the FW gets in all the cracks and crevices where they may have been hiding? I wonder how long it takes to go from a hatchling to a big reproducable nudi anyways. Anyone know?

you can do three dips which is what i do. firsh get the water the same temp as your tank water then dip your zoas for five minutes in the fresh water. After that shake out the colony and get all dead things off of it. then move the colony to a clean fresh water bath for another five minutes repeat the shaking and you guessed it do it again. Fifteen minutes total should kill all those buggers. It did for me at least.

In between check for eggs on the polyps themselves. They will be white dots in the shape of a rams horn.

PS: careful you dont get squirted while looking to close to the zoas. The affects arent pretty
