I have a mystery. Maybe.

I came home today to two dead hermits, right next to each other. Could it be they were attacked for the shell? There are no empty shells, I spent several minutes looking. I'm confused. I don't really care for the crabs but I've had em for over a year since I started till now. I think the are of the zebra variety, around 1". Almost the two biggest died. They killed off nass snails in the 55 before the tank move for shells, they didn't like the provided shells

90 gallon with 20 sump. Been running a month. 55 was up a year. Direct tank move plus new sand. 1 starry Benny and 2 clownish. I got out all of my tests and ran every test.
9-10 dkh
Low calcium at 250-280
No mag test
Less than 5 nitrate, 0 ammonia and nitrate
I tested copper and it showed a big 0000.
Calibrated refractometer and tested water at 1.025
I use home made Rodi, same salt as always, auto top off. Only one lps frag, 3-4 softies/mushroom/zoa all open.
I'm not really concerned at this point. I'm leaning toward Blenny killing or they were killed by something. I just can't find a single empty shell I'm the tank and they were 1" nassarious shells.
These zebras killed off all but two red leg hermits as well. And at least 5 nas snails cuz every dwarf has one. They don't touch the trochus snail.

I'm just looking for input is all. I'm going to monitor but I'm not going to start changing crap or do water changes. My last water change was 10% on Saturday.

Could they have just died from nothing to eat?

Over the last few months I've had a bunch of my CUC die off because my DT is too clean for them.
