my father has a toadstool leather in his aquarium. I glues the small rubble rock it was atatcked to onto a rock. he is replacing the rocks, so if I am unable to get the coral free can i cut it at its base, and glue it to a new rock, I have never fragged a coral, so I am unsure how to go about transferring this coral from his old rock to his new rock.

yep just cut it as close to rock as you can...then just use a needle and thread and tie it to the new rock....or put a toothpick thru it and use rubber band to hold it down to new rock...i like the thread cause you cant see at all that much...lol

ya I am going to try my best to dig the rock the coral is adhered to off the rock first. and then glue that to the new rock, but will cut and adhere the new coral with one of the above mentioned techniques should that fail.

I did it to my toad. easy to do, but be ready for it to retract it's polyps for a while. mine did for about three weeks.
