I have done my homework but...

I still can't seem to find a good ID on this macro. It is trying to take over my entire show tank, outcompeting the Caluerpa in my fuge. It is VERY difficult, if not impossible, to pull and nothing seems to eat it (including my foxface, red-lipped blenny, a lawnmower blenny, etc...). The foxface will pick at it from time to time but not at the rate I would like. The only thing that I have seen graze over a long period of time on this stuff were some blue-leg hermits...

Anyhow, I feel like if I can ID this stuff, I can somehow figure out how to get rid of it...

I am pretty sure both pictures show the same stuff, even though it looks like there are some color morphs (one is more purple while the other is brown looking...I am almost 100% positive it is the same stuff).

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Thanks
Scott T.

The second picture, it looks a bit more "brownish" here and as you can see, is overgrowing some polyps. FWIW, this was the rock that introduced the stuff to my tank...
