I have a swirly yellow power compact florescent bulb on my cpr fuge. Works for me. Your setup is good too.

Are those water proof lights?

well there is a plastic splash guard over each one. however i'm planning on covering them with a glass box for safety, and to cover the light so i can do a reverse photoperiod. plus it will help with heat.
