As some of you know I'm a Radiation Protection Tech and travel for work, well I leave for Japan on Monday. I'll be in Yokohama, just south of Tokyo and luckily won't be working at the Fukushima plant. I will be there because of the accident though and traveling into the affected areas. :crazy1:
If you are buying fish from me please make time to pick them up this weekend.

When I saw you Tues. you said you thought you"d be going, didn't realize it would be so soon! All the best, be safe. If I can be of any help to the family here on the home front don't hesitate to call.

I live, as you know, right down the street. You should give your wife my number and tell her to call if she needs some "man" help - you know lifting or such stuff. I am sure I can find someone that would be willing to help. :spin3:

I am in and out of the house this Saturday. I am doing some "last stuff" moving with my kids. LMK what is a good time for you and I will drop by.

What a great opportunity to gain some valuable Rad Con experience, and lots good stories tooooooo.

Be praying for your safety bud, kinda crazy how everything is playing out because of this quake. Be safe bud!

Thanks every one for the kinds words. I think I'm more worried about another quake and the Flight has me a bit nervous.

When I flew to Korea it was fine except for the incredibly long boring duration of the flight.

be careful over there. i'd be nervous too. i just can't imagine the devastation. hope they play a couple good movies for you on the plane. :)

I'm almost done packing, I have my emergency kit in my hiking pack along with my water treatment equipment. My meters(ion chamber, Geiger Mueller, and scintillation detectors and scalers). So I'm excited and cautious and nervous all at the same time.

I have an orange shoulder, naso, sailfin, and a scopas tang in that tank. All and the foxface went after the strip of algae that I put in last night. All seem to be getting along.

Now the clowns were a different matter. I put the two I got from you in with the other two and things did not look good. I was afraid that they would not. Anyway the two new ones were not doing the picking, but the other two were. After a few hours, the larger of the two new ones was being accepted but the smaller one was not. After a few more hours, it had not changed so I moved the two new ones to a different tank. I was surprised that I was able to catch them without much trouble. They were distracted - was why is was so easy, I think. Anyway, they were doing ok in the other tank.

I made it to Tokyo and now in Yokohama, Did you know that a cab ride from the airport to the hotel was $321 dollars US! I was thinking it would be maybe $50 bucks but was I wrong!
