I just need lighting, are these good?

The last thing on my list is lighting, but I dont want to spend $1500 on it.

I've been seeing people talk about these "china boxes" and looked them up on ebay. Are they actually ok in a 24" deep tank? I'll be doing SPS, LPS, and fish.

Yeap they're good.

Use the same style (165 watt / Dimmable / Full Spectrum) on our frag tank. SPS / LPS / Zoas / etc...

How many do you think I should buy for a 6' long tank? 4 or 6?

I have 3 on a 60x36" tank.

I'd say 4 would be enough.
