I need advice on ICK

Okay, 120G DT 50G sump. Tank is about 2 months old. I cycled all my dry rock before and everything was going great the first couple of weeks.

Added 4 Blue/Green Chromis

about 2 weeks later I added a Royal Gramma

About a 3-4 days after adding the Gramma ICK showed up on him. I quickly got him out of the tank. I watched the Chromis but they were fine, so after another 2 weeks or so I added a Ruby Headed Fairy Wrasse. Watched him for 2 weeks and he was great and eating like a horse. So then I purchased a Yellow Tang. Things went well but after about 2 weeks the tang started acting odd. He is very twitchy and is periodically scraping on coral (about 1 or 2 times per hour). I did notice 4 or 5 white parasites one day, however they were gone the day after that. However the twitching and periodic scratching continue, however not very often.

All fish are still eating very well and take anything offered. No other fish other than the Tang are acting odd at all, and no fish at this point have noticeable parasites.

Water parameters to this day are excellent.

Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite and phosphates are all undetectable. PH 8.0, Calcium 440, Magnesium 1400, Alkalinity 8.9.

Question is, what do I do now.

Do I remove all the fish and QT them treating with copper and hypo, then leave the tank with no fish for 8 weeks to the ICK finally dies? Do I leave them all in and hope for the best? Will this cause me issues when adding more new fish?

My thought process here is that the Gramma brought it into the tank, and it continued in there going through the ICK cycle until the Tang showed up and it was infected....

help.....

Remove the fish...

Treat with copper.

keep it at a theraputic level for about 4 weeks.

watch fish for another 2 months to be safe.

I have been going through the same thing. Everything was fine until…..

Im putting them in the hospital tomorrow. Just do it and get it done. Then QT everything you buy.
