I am very new to this hobby and keep reading about "husbandry". What does this mean as it relates to fish and reefs? Sorry if this is basic but i'm interested. Thanks in advance.
The caring for our animals is correct. The way we learn husbandry is reading and studying what types of animals and other life such as corals, plants, inverts., etc. can exist together in a closed system. With some cultivating of a habitat that would somewhat be the same as there natural existense.
The evaluation of husbandry procedures with respect to Marine life kept in closed systems suggests collecting practices should consider both cost and ethics.
