BTA's are the best IMO to start out with. Make sure your tank has been up and running for 6 months minimum. Make sure all your parmeters are good.
The 12 gallon may be a little too small for an anemone, but can be done. It can out grow the tank, and water quality can go down hill fast. Do you have a sump under the 12 gallon? If so, how big?

In my experience, buying from a local reefer has always given me the highest quality BTA's.
