I need help tuning my skimmer

I have a bak pak cyclone skimmer and filter and I was reading that you can collect more skum if you tune it right. Can anybody tell me how to tune my skimmer. Thanks alot

how much gunk comes out the top... and what is the consistency of that gunk...

wet bubbles vs. dry bubbles..

wetter the effluent, allegedly the more DO's that are removed

How high up in the neck the water level is will determine dry or wet skim
