Hey guys I just bought a 125 gal. tank that is set up at someones house. I need help moving it to my house. I would love to have some help. I will supply a good BBQ and as much beer as needed. Lets have a tank moving party. It would great to have some people that know what I need to do. Any help would be greatly appericated.:)

O.K I know it was alot to ask for help be being a new member and all. But if any one has any advice on what I need to do when I move this tank that would also be helpful.

If I drove something larger then an Integra I would help. Do you have a truck?
If so, I should only take 2, maybe 3 to get it moved.

One thing that will help the process would be set up a small tank at your house and move all the livestock in one trip and come back for the tank. If your not rushed to get the tank setup in a couple of hours, rather than a couple of days, you will make less mistakes.

Yes I do have a truck. I probly have at least oe other person to help but the more the merry. I was think of maybe transporting the live rock and sand in rubber maid totes. Like I said before any one with advise is welcome:confused:

I have 3 23 gall. buckets let me know whent
I maybe available to help (I have a truck )

pm me whit what day and what time

Do you plan on moving it this weekend? If so let me know, I should be off work, and I can bring some empty 5 gallon water jugs to save some of the established water.

Yea I did bye it on craiges list. It is right off pet hill road and yes they are moving. The plan is for this sat. between 10 and 2. I could really use those 32 gal buckets. :D

Man, my back is sore! Hows it looking?

AND, Why is it that I was the only one that signed up to help when I was the farthest away? Hmmmmmmmm! :)

Dan you are the man. And James you rock. I could not have done this with out you guys. I owe you both big time. I will post pic tomorow.

Not to be rude but I don't sign up to help someone I don't know and have never seen on RC before. You are very generous Dan. MRDJH1, hopefully you can make it to a meeting and we can get to know you. Off to go tubing in the snow. See ya.

Hey I dont consider that rude at all. I know it was a lot to ask. And yes I plan on coming to the next meeting.

MRDHJ1 I see your an auto tech, where do you work? How was the tank move, especially being that big? I'm coordinating a cargo fan to get a tank about 2 hours away. I'm not too happy to drag a buddy out but I'll give him 100 pounds of live sand and atleast 50 pounds of live rock or more. It'll be an all day adventure with stops to all the fish stores. :)

Hey Inslandcreation I work for a independent shop call Voyager caravan speclties in Windsor. As far as the move it was a lot of work I am still sore. What size tank do you have to move, and from where to where

120 starphire tank. Need to get it from Los Gatos and back to Santa Rosa. So my buddy and I are going to make it a 10-15 hour event.

Is it set up somewhere. If so do you have a truck slash trucks to move it. I might be able to help if needed. when do you plan on doing it.

Thanks for the offer. I got a cargo van for this weekend so were creating a route to hit all the fish stores as we head out there! Too bad it only has two seats, his cousin could have came.
