i need some help with this pest on leather coral

i was looking at a wound on my leather coral and saw a pest on it.i googled some pictures of coral parasites and looks exactly like a flabelligerid worm or barnacle.its my only coral at the moment and i have dipped it initially in reef dip according to the instructions.the bottle of reef dip i used was really old but i was told it doesn't do bad,i don't know if its true..shouldn't the dip remove the worm or maybe its from something else i got it from?i started with dead rock and added a few pieces of live rock,i don't know if its from there..can you please give me some feedback on this worm and how to remove it please?
