I have a RSM 34, currently have the following

2 Perculas
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
1 Purple firefish
1 Royal Gamma
1 Cleaner shrimp
1 Tiger Shrimp
various snails and hermits and corals

I'm looking for something that has a little personality and will be out swimming around like the clowns do..the other two are either in the rock work a lot or just dont swim much.

Thanks for any input

Wrasses, chromis, damsels.

Wrasses, active and swims in the open, very fast too. But judging by the tank size I think there isn't much options, you could get a way with some small ones like tanaka, mystery, sixstripe(6 stripe might get too aggressive) or even some smaller fairy and flasher wrasse.

Damsels, as you know some individuals are known to be trouble makers. They suit the "last fish to add" phrase. But there are more options of damsels which can fit in your tank size. They're also active swimmers.

Chromis are active open swimmers too. Especially when they school, looks nice. But quite a number of people reported they school for a while and eventually one will kill the rest. It can fit your tank size though.

Being a 34 gallon tank, and only 19" wide, I don't think it is suitable for any Fairy or Flasher Wrasse. The only ones I would consider would be a Possum or Pink Streaked (Pseudochiliops ataenia). Though the tank is fairly well stocked as is, and so another may be pushing your luck...

Look into an assesor. A little shy at first but once acclimated and comfortable they like to hang out upside down and vertical. Available in Yellow or blue (Macneils) which isn't really blue but dark grey.

Pseudochromis - Frimandi, Flavirtex or Springeri. Frimandi and Springeri usually are winding their way in and out of the rock work. Strikingly colored fish.

I wouldn't recommend getting pseudochromis(dottybacks) or choose the right individual. These guys are devil. I have 1 bicolor dottyback and it owns the tank, ALONE. It tore apart all the fish that were in the tank and I had to remove all those fish before they end up dead also because I can't catch the dottyback at all. But atleast it catches people's attention because it does look nice and striking.
I heard fridmani are less aggressive.
