"I Want a Divorce.....I Want a Reef"

And here I thought my 300EXT was large.

Back to the drawing board.

Can you post up a mock up of the flow between the tanks and also to the sump. I am always looking for ideas for the next build.

Yeah that's not going in the stand LOL

Yeah that's not going in the stand LOL

For size reference, the top of the stand is 30 inches.

But in reality it wasn't ever going under the stand. This is going in the garage where I have 2 300g stock tanks. One will be the sump, the other a refugium.

Anyone want to come plumb these up? I hate plumbing.

Yeah I can come over and plumb them up.

What tools do you have?
Pipe?
Connectors?
Glue?

Sadly I have few tools now. My ex took most of them when she left...the good tools anyway.

I just ordered my spa-flex, I have all the elbows, couplings I should need(I hope).

Ive already got my salt, and rock, Im working on sand, Ive got 3 Dolphin 6250's, 1 for return, 2 for closed loop, and the skimmer. Although I do need a feed pump for the skimmer....hmmm. I guess I need to research that one...lol...oh the joys of being single! You get to stay up late being a nerd researching things no one else in their right minds would ever dream about researching.

As some of us say:

I am doing this for a fish?

Like driving in a snowstorm because you called the LFS and they were staying open for you to get some food. Then getting there and spending a bit more for some frags and a new tank inhabitant.

you would think the kids would have a smile from ear to ear!, subscribed.

My youngest was upset because I made him come take a picture when he was playing with his legos. He didn't want to take the picture. My oldest is Autistic, and doesn't show much emotion...

Hope things keep improving, in life and with the tank. Did the big D myself once, it does become the past eventually. Hope the boys continue doing well, that matters most.

You know, its ALOT easier to buy fish stuff when your not married :) Im enjoying my "singleness?" I can buy what I want for me and the boys without having to "answer" for it.....

Hope all is well with you man, stay strong for your kids. Got challenge with my 1st born too, he's ADHD and OCD, but I know once my build is finished it would be good for the kids. It's educational.
BTW....."Happy FISH, Happy LIFE"
