Newbie- I have a few Zoa frags, and a nice flat live rock 8"X4". I am thinking about trying to remove my current Zoa's from their frag disk, and attaching them to the liverock.
most of my zoas are mounded on their frag disk so I am assuming there is some type of epoxy under them (see picture).
My plan:
-get safety equipment and use -gloves-googles-mask
-remove Zoa from frag (alittle unsure how that will go with the potential epoxy x-factor)
-dry the back side of zoa
-dap the top of the rock and glue them down with superglue gel
My questions or what are things as a newbie I need to research consider? What do you think will make the best looking colony? I have different zoa's should I try to separate them into 2-3 head clusters with room to grow in or should I try to group like zoa's together (aesthetics question). What do you think the sweet spot is on spacing?
Any other suggestions? (including don't do it)
Thanks for advice
