Hi everyone. Im new to the forum and have been reading other's articles to help guide me through the process of my 1st SW tank. I always wanted a saltwater tank so I got back into the hobby this past July 1st. I recently added this 4 line wrasse from a seller ( 9/20) who lives in my neighborhood who has a business and I noticed these hard to appreciate spots unless the wrasse was under direct light on an angle. I fear its ich. The wrasse eats and does nothing unusual but its hard to get a good pic of it so I was hoping someone could take a look and give me thoughts. I'd figure ich wouldnt be hard to see but Im not 100%.

Is he still eating?

Pic is a little blurry, looks like ich, but google flukes to make sure that's not it.

If it's ich do a freshwater dip. Please search here on how to do it properly.

Next look up hypo salinity and tank transfer method.

If it's flukes i used prazipro succesfully on a wrasse.

Unfortunately if it's Ich, it's now infected your whole tank, not just the Wrasse. Read the sticky posts above to see your options on how to deal with it.

Keep an eye on it. I'm not sure if 4 lines sleep in the sand or forage in the sand like my melanarus wrasse does, but occasionally Ill think I see some spots on him only to find that its granules of sand. Not saying that's what I think it is in your case, but just on the hopeful side.
