ICH and QT of corals

Having brought in ich on a coral before how long should I keep the coral in qt to be sure all ich is dead? is it 6 weeks since the cycle is a minimum of 28 days?

The life cycle you are most concerned by is the cyst stage as this is what can hitchhike in attached to hard surfaces like coral. Cysts have been known to take up to 72 days to hatch. So most people will recommend 10-12 weeks of keeping it fallow before bringing over to the DT.
