Roughly a year ago I lost all but one fish in my display tank due to a major ich outbreak. Surprisingly the only fish that survived was a blue tang (which had ich like the other fish but somehow survived). I thought he would die but somehow he pulled through. No treatment whatsoever because I could not catch the fish!. The ich returned for another month and then the spots were gone (they've been gone for 10 months. My tang is healthy, eats a ton but I continue to wonder if ich is still in my tank. I'd like to add a new quarantined fish but wonder if it's safe to do so with my dt's history of ich in the past.
