Ich/Ick/Eeek!?!

Alright, had a foxface that died 2 days ago mysteriously for no reason known to me for those who can recall my thread in the n00b section.

Foxface Thread

Now my bi-color blenny has developed white spots all over it's face, in the corners of it's mouth especially, and appears to just be laying in his favorite spot, rather than perched in the spot as normal.

The only difference in the tank that I can tell is that there is a strange amount of foam developing on the surface for some reason.

Is this signs of the infamous ich? My foxface died overnight after first signs of stress and I think I will have to move quickly with this.

I am not apposed to reading about the illness or illnesses and I plan to do so should I be allowed time, however, I'd like to move quickly on this so if someone knows what I can do to intervene in the meantime that would be greatly appreciated.

The strange thing about this is my tank is over a year + established and I've had no problems whatsoever with anything...this has just come out of no where.

Because of how fast my foxface passed I don't think I will even have till tomorrow evening before this has taken my bi-color. Recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!

Double posting in the n00b section as well. Thank you very much!

Just a quick update...all water params are perfect currently (including PH which was at 7.8 two days ago when foxxy died. Must have been a flux due to CO2 buildup in house. I opened windows all day (yesterday) and seemed to fix problem).

White spots on the bi-color blenny appear to either wipe off or are pigmentation in the scales. I dropped some food in there with some hopes that he'd snap out of it and be all better and sure enough he did. I think he might have rubbed up against a rock once or twice and ALL spots were gone. Within minutes he was back in his spot lying there and the spots had returned. I also noticed a fuzzy spot on the powerhead (yes he has a nook in my Seio2800 between the directional nozzle and the intake cover..I'll show you later) where he was resting his head. Kinda like it was spreading onto where he was laying. I rubbed that off with my hand and siphoned it out. I also siphoned out all the foam at the top and did about a 15% water change on the spot. Unfortunately since I had done one so recently I didn't have a reserve cycling.

Are those disappearing and reappearing spots consistent with ich symptoms?
