Ich need advice

Ok so it looks like I have Ich on my Porc Puffer and My Sailfin Tang. My Yellow tang and Niger trigger dont appear to have it. I have a few questions
I'm going to treat with Hypo since I've read Puffers dont do well with Copper.
My current QT tank is being used to house everyone until i can finish getting my DT finished. The QT has live rock in it and sand.

1. I should treat all my fish regardless if i see ich or not correct?
2. Would my Live rock and sand be ok to move to a bin, while the fish get treatment?
3. Should I remove my Cheato before treatment?

Thanks!

I would start by reading this sticky.

1. I should treat all my fish regardless if i see ich or not correct?

That is correct and leave your display tank fallow (without fish) for 9 weeks. if you are treating in your display tank, it should be 9 weeks in hypo. And you should measure SG with a calibrated refractometer at 1.008/1.009

2. Would my Live rock and sand be ok to move to a bin, while the fish get treatment?

Sure, but they must remain without fish for 9 weeks.

3. Should I remove my Cheato before treatment?

Thanks!

The DT isn't finished yet, so nothing in it for awhile isn't a problem.
I actually read over that sticky and several others before I posted.
Thank you for the advice. This is the first case of ich I've ever dealt with in the 7 years I've had fish. Salt is new to me so I just wanted to be sure before I started.

A QT and doing research-----a great way to start this hobby! Keep us posted!

Ok, I had a chance to really stare at the two fish in question, and my porc puffer doesnt appear to have the spots that I know as Ich, but just some discoloration on his fins. Does that sound abnormal to anyone?
Also the only spots i see on my Desjardini SF tang are on its pec fins, again does that sound abnormal to anyone?

Ich spots on fins are common, so are ich spots that come and go. Ich will go through a phase where it looks like its gone, then returns X100. If the same spot is there for a week, it probably isn't ich. There are also other things that can resemble ich, but they don't stay on the fish long; like bits of substrate. Being able to really see things like this is a big advantage of a QT. Watch and treat if needed (or not). Any rubbing, ''flashing" or scratching?
