Ich On Anemone?

I have Ich in my DT and am in the process of moving all of my fish to the QT. My question is, do Anemone's need to be removed to stop the Ich lifecycle too? Or can they not contract ich, and therefore can be left in the tank along with the shrimps, crabs, snails, etc.

if you already have ich in the display, then chances are that all your other fish already have eggs on them which will just grow in the QT. There are various medications you can try that have success, but I've always been lucky with some garlic soaked food and time.

I am using Hyposalinity in the QT. Just wanted to know if the Anemone can keep the ich lifecycle alive in the DT or not.

You will have to leave your fish in QT for weeks, long enough for the W/S to die out in your tank, I know a few people who have tried this and none have been successful, but I guess it can be done. IMO you are better to leave the fish in the tank and address the stress that is causing them to get it. A lot/most tanks have W/S in them, healthy, happy, unstressed fish don't normally get it. Stress the fish by puttting them in a small tank, catching, etc etc will just cause increase the chances of losing them.

Just my option.

I have an extremely large QT (72 gallons) and I'm doing a 25 gallon water change everyday, I am completely confident I can continue to keep the levels around 0 (which I have for the last week) in the QT. They will be in there 5 more weeks.
