Ich on my new tang- advise

I purchased a yellow tang from a LFS I haven't dealt with before. The tang look fine when I bought him and within minutes my cleaner shimp was cleaning him and a few hours later ich appeared. I pulled him out of my DT and put into a new nano I have set up with water from my DT.

I have FW dipped twice- once for 4 min and 9 minutes. Both times he makes improvement but putting him back into the infected nano is not working. I got some fromaline medication and haved dosed my nano (pulled out my LR first) and hopefully this will work.

I'm watching my DT like a hawk and everything looks good. Water parameters in both the DT and nano are 1.024, nitrates, nitrites, amonia, phospates are 0's or close to 0, pH is 8.3.

In the meantime, I've realized the importance of a QT tank. Any advise? I'll look for suggestions on setting up a QT as well.

Added garlic extract this afternoon. He's looking better than before and I got him to eat some liquid algae too. Fins are looking ragged though.

Lessons learned from this go-around. 1. Never buy fish from strangers. 2. Always quarantine fish
