remove all fish, put into QT and treated with hyposalinity or copper. DT run fallow for 8 weeks. that is the only thing you can do to get rid of ich.

It seems to be a never ending battle with ich. You can try your hardest too keep it out of your dt, one little slip up and its there or back. There are so many ways ich can enter ur dt. quarantine everything from here on out and cross your fingers.

There is no way that your tank has gone a year with nothing added. Sorry but if it had then you would not have ich.

Ich can be introduced to your tank on anything wet. Even though inverts and corals can not host ich it can be attached to the rock the coral is on or in the water still in the snails shell. Granted the chances of that happening are low but its always possible.

So what did you add to your tank recently? Coral....Snails.....odds are thats what caused your ich.

Like someone else stated remove all fish from your display I prefer 12 weeks fallow and treat fish in a treatment tank with cupramine for 4 weeks..
