ich question? Change water before fishles?

HI

My display tank is has lots of ich inside but the nitrate level is below 20. Should I do a water change or just let it empty for 6 week to 8 weeks until it dies.

Water changes won't have any meaningful impact on ich within the tank - ich will die off naturally without fish in about 5 weeks.
